It's Saturday morning and Jan & I are getting more anxious ahead of our departure on Wednesday over the news from greek media that there may be disruptions to public & taxi transport in Athens in protest over economic measures to be imposed on the greek populace. When we arrive in Athens airport we need to travel as quickly as we can to the port of Piraeus, we have just under 2.5 hours to exit airport and travel 20 miles across the city preferably by metro or rail, but if worst comes to worst a £55 taxi fare will be last resort - but even this is not certain as taxi's may strike on Tue & Wed!
